Hostel

Erode Arts and Science College facilitates hostel facilities for boys inside the campus. The hostel accommodates nearly 200 inmates. The hostel is administered by a committee which consists of Principal as Chief Warden, a Senior Professor as Deputy Warden and teaching faculties as Residential Wardens. The inmates of both hostels select themselves a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Mess Secretary and Joint Secretary to represent the inmates and assist the hostel administration.

The team of students along with committee of administration works together in co-ordination the hostel activities. Deputy Warden and Residential wardens monitor the regular activities, concerning hostel administration. The student representatives are expected to co-operate with the office bearers to ensure smooth running of the hostel. The student body holds the duty for one academic year.

We place only 4 inmates in a room. The residential wardens look after the students, all the time. Wardens are at service to the students if they have any discomfort or problems. The activities of the students are also regulated by maintaining outgoing register and college going register. Through this system it is easy to track them down at times of need.
