The RTI ( Right To Information ) ACT 2005

The RTI Act 2005, has been enacted by the Parliament and has come into force from 15th June 2005. This Act provides for Right to Information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority. Erode Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Erode, established in the year 1972 approved by the Government of Tamilnadu and affiliated to the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore 641046, falls under the ambit of this Act.
